Some of you may have preconceived ideas about just what it is a plastic surgeon does during the course of the day. Some plastic surgeons limit their practice to elective cosmetic surgery; however, my 30 year practice has been based on both cosmetic and non cosmetic procedures. Today, my practice is limited to cosmetic surgery, lesions and cancer reconstruction and hand aliments such as carpal tunnel, ganglions, trigger fingers, etc.  In days past; however, you might have shared my waiting room with a child treated for a dog bite, a teenager with facial injuries from an auto accident, a hand injury from a power saw or lawn mower, a burn or cancer reconstruction patient, someone who had a mole or a ganglion removed, carpal tunnel surgery or the typical cosmetic surgery patient who’s had a nip or tuck of some kind.
